The Outlaw Oracle Story
Our founder, Hillary, was sick of feeling like an outsider in the world of sparkly, pastel oracle cards and derivative tarot decks. They left her cold, and the traditional tarot guidebooks might as well have been written in ancient Greek. But then she had a revelation:
What if tarot and oracle cards could speak the language of outlaw country music – the American Gothic soundtrack of rebels, dreamers, and hell-raisers?
And just like that, The Outlaw Oracle was born. We've been shaking up the tarot and oracle world ever since, one badass deck and book at a time.

How Country Music Crashed into Tarot
Meet The Founder
As told by Founder, Hillary – the original tarot outlaw
You know that feeling when you're stuck between a rock and a hard place, and you need some straight-shooting advice? That's when most folks turn to tarot. But let me tell you, the traditional decks left me feeling like I was trying to read ancient hieroglyphics while drunk on moonshine.
There I was, determined to crack the tarot code, poring over those cards one by one. But instead of seeing mystical symbols, I kept hearing the echoes of country songs – the ones that raised me, shaped me, and told it like it is.
Before I knew it, I was sketching out these country-infused cards. Part learning exercise, part stoned adventure (let's keep it real, folks). And just like that, The Outlaw Oracle burst into existence, kicking and screaming.
